Songs to Save KPLU: Help KPLU stay on the air at a fundraiser featuring Lizzie Boyer, The Jason Parker Quartet and The Brown Edition. 7 p.m. at Rhythm & Rye, 311 Capitol Way N., Olympia. Cost is a $15 donation at the door. Food will be provided by Our Table Restaurant, and all profits will be donated to SaveKPLU.

See what is blooming: Trillium Trek, 1 p.m., at Lake Sylvia State Park, 1812 Lake Sylvia Road N., Montesano. Meet by the kitchen on the beach. Well-mannered dogs on leash are OK.

Olympia Downtown Cleanup: First 100 volunteers get a T-shirt and lunch. Check in at 8:30 a.m. at Olympia Press Building, 115 State Ave. NE. Information: Kim Combs at odaevent@tss.net, or 360-357-8948. Counts as community service hours for students.

Elma Elementary kindergarten registration: 9 a.m.-noon and 1 p.m.-3:30 p.m. at the superintendent’s office, which is in the school. All children who will be 5 years old on or before Aug. 31, are eligible to register for the 2016-17 school year. Proof of your child’s immunizations and a birth certificate are required. Senior brain health: Linda Terry is a brain health trainer and a certified geriatric specialist. She will speak at the Tumwater Timberland Library, 7023 New Market Street, from 1 to 2 p.m. All Timberland Regional Library programs are free. Information: 360-943-7790.

April 22

19th annual Resident Council Spring Bazaar: The residents at Providence Mother Joseph Care Center will kick off their annual spring bazaar at 10 a.m., at 3333 Ensign Road NE, in Olympia. The bazaar runs until 4 p.m., and tables are available for vendors to rent. All proceeds benefit the Resident Council Fund. Information: Penny Hyers, 360-493-4634.

April 23

20th Annual Olympic Club Brewfest: 1-11 p.m. Free admission, $13 per 10-sample taster punch card. All ages welcome in the pub; 21 & over only in the brewery and theater.
