1. Yelm man dies in Nisqually jail: The man has been identified as Andrew Westling. An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday to determine the cause of death, and toxicology results will take up to 10 weeks, said Thurston County Coroner Gary Warnock.
2. Bail set at 50k for suspect in grisly Thurston County dog death: James Leroy Evans, 33, appeared Monday in Thurston County Superior Court on one count of first-degree animal cruelty. Arraignment was set for April 26.
3. Suspect arrested in Thurston County dog rape and death: A suspect has been captured in connection with the death of a dog that was sexually assaulted and later found hanging from a tree in rural Thurston County.
4. Lawsuit: Olympia School District hid sexual abuse from parents: A new lawsuit has been filed against the Olympia School District in the case involving a school bus driver who molested students over a six-year period.
5. Suspect in dog death posts bail in Thurston County: As part of the conditions, James Leroy Evans must stay at the court-approved address where no animals are present. He is not allowed to have any contact with animals or with the two witnesses who were named in court documents.
