Living Wage: The Thurston County League of Women Voters meeting will be at 6 p.m. at Traditions Cafe, 300 Fifth Ave. SW, Olympia. Mindie Reule from the Thurston Asset Building Coalition will introduce us to the Economic Advancement Hub of the coalition. Nationwide Nurse-In: The second annual Nationwide Nurse-In will take place at the state Capitol in Olympia, on the north steps. Rotary annual dinner and auction: Rotary will host its 14th annual dinner and auction at 5:30 p.m. April 30 at the Little Creek Casino and Resort Event Center, 91 W. State Route 108, Shelton. The cost of the sport-themed event is $75 per person. To purchase tickets or donate items, visit their website at spsrotaryauction.org. Proceeds from the fundraiser go toward supporting local projects such as SafePlace, The Family Support Center and the Hands On Children’s Museum.

Tumwater Kiwanis annual plant sale: Flowers, vegetables, hanging baskets, all to support Kiwanis sponsored youth activities. Sale is 9 a.m.-3 p.m., at Peter G. Schmidt Elementary, 225 Dennis St. SE.

Veterans Resource Fair: Groups that provide services, resources, or opportunities to Veterans and their family members will be at the Tacoma Dome, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
