Fire crews spend 30 minutes removing woman from rollover truck crash
Fire crews spent about 30 minutes removing a 19-year-old woman from a truck early Sunday after it rolled over in south Thurston County, according to the West Thurston Regional Fire Authority and a Thurston County dispatcher.
About 9:45 a.m. Sunday, fire crews and Thurston County Medic One were dispatched to the 1300 block of 113th Avenue Southwest. That’s where they found the rollover crash and a woman who was removed from the truck about 10:18 a.m. Sunday.
The woman, who was driving a Ford F-350, was hauling an empty horse trailer, said Sgt. Carla Carter of the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office. The trailer left the road, which caused the driver to over-correct, resulting in the crash.
The woman was wearing her seat belt, Carter said.
The woman was later taken to Providence St. Peter Hospital, where she was treated and released, Carter said.
