2. Driver faces vehicular assault charge after woman falls out of truck: The woman was among “multiple people” who had been sitting in the back of the box truck while the back door was open, witnesses said. A bystander said the vehicle was being driven recklessly when the woman fell out.
3. Former St. Peter employee suspected of having sex with minor patient: A former certified nursing assistant for Providence St. Peter Hospital was arrested after she allegedly had sex with a 15-year-old former patient.
4. Deschutes Valley Park to open Saturday in Tumwater: The Deschutes Valley Park is a collaboration between the city and the LOTT Clean Water Alliance. The park sits atop a buried water storage tank on city-owned property at 600 T St. SE.
5. Case of former JBLM soldier who killed his wife to be featured on 48 Hours: Skylar Nemetz, a former Joint Base Lewis-McChord soldier who fatally shot his wife, will plead his case on national television Saturday.
