Candidate filing continues in Thurston County

One candidate joined the fall ballot in Legislative District No. 2 on Wednesday, the third day of filing week.

Filing week is when candidates officially place their names on the ballot. The filing deadline is 4:30 p.m. Friday.

Derek Maynes of Puyallup was the sole filer Wednesday. For a list that includes governor and other statewide seats, go to thurstonvotes.org and click on “2016 candidates who have filed.”
