Level 3 sex offender registers near Shelton
A Level 3 sex offender notice has been issued in Mason County for Douglas Lee Johnson, 55.
Johnson has given an address in the 3000 block of Southeast Lynch Road in Shelton, according to the Mason County Sheriff’s Department.
In 1999, he was convicted in Cowlitz County Superior Court of molesting an 8-year-old girl he had known for eight years. He has another sexual assault conviction involving an 8-year-old girl, according to the sheriff’s office.
Johnson is a white man who is 5 foot 9 and 185 pounds.
A Level 3 sex offender is the highest level and is issued when the subject is deemed a high risk to reoffend.
