Woodlawn Memorial Day Tribute: A Memorial Day commemoration, 3:30 p.m. at Woodlawn Funeral Home Cemetery and Cremation, 5930 Mullen Road, SE, Lacey. Grave-marker cleaning supplies will be available.

Rotunda: The Capitol Rotunda in Olympia opens at 10:30 a.m. for a service hosted by the Thurston County Veterans Coalition.

JBLM: Joint Base Lewis-McChord is having its Memorial Day observance at the Fort Lewis Cemetery at 11 a.m. Base Commander Col. Daniel Morgan is to lead the ceremony.

Mills & Mills Memorial Park Cemetery: 5725 Littlerock Road SW, Tumwater, will host an observance at 2 p.m

DuPont: DuPont’s official Memorial Day observance is set to begin at 2 p.m. in Ross Plaza.

The Washington Soldiers Home: Ceremony at 2 p.m. The soldiers home is at 1301 Orting Kapowsin Highway in Orting.

Lacey Community blood drive: Donate from 1-6 p.m. at Charter College, 4520 Lacey Blvd. SE, Lacey. Download the American Red Cross blood donor app, go to redcrossblood.org or call 800-733-2767 to make an appointment or for more information. A blood donor card or driver’s license or two other forms of identification are required at check-in. High school students and other donors 18 years of age and younger must meet height and weight requirements.

Thursday

Bezango, WA” documentary screening: “Bezango, WA” chronicles the art, history and lives of prominent Seattle-area cartoonists and comic artists. 6:30 p.m. at the Lacey Timberland Library, 500 College St. SE. A Q&A with directors Louise Amandes and Ron Austin, and South Sound comic artists will follow. Free.

Friday

Ohio Northern University National Tour Choir: The First United Methodist Church will present a concert at 7 p.m. in the church sanctuary, 1224 Legion Way SE, Olympia. The concert will begin with a sacred segment, followed by a segment including international and contemporary music. More information at onu.edu/choir_tour_2016.

First Friday concert: Unity of Olympia will host Seattle musician and songwriter Aaron English at 7 p.m. Free. Donations will be accepted for the International Youth Music Project. Information at internationalyouthmusicproject.org or Unity of Olympia at 360 943-5757.
