Construction begins on College Street in Lacey
Waterline construction is scheduled to begin Thursday (June 2) along College Street Southeast in the vicinity of 26th Avenue Southeast, near the Brentwood neighborhood.
Work will begin at 8 a.m. and end at 4 p.m. and is expected to be completed by June 10, according to a news release.
Vehicles may be restricted to one lane in each direction, and traffic delays are expected. Motorists are advised to use alternate routes if possible.
The work is part of a larger, $2.8 million waterline replacement project in the area. An online project schedule with additional information is at ci.lacey.wa.us/project-updates.
