North Thurston to offer sneak peek at Salish Middle School

Students who will attend the new Salish Middle School in the North Thurston Public Schools next fall — as well as the general public — can get a sneak peek at the new building before school lets out for the summer.

An open house is planned for the general public at 5:30 p.m. Monday, followed by a tour for parents and students at 6:30 p.m.

Salish Middle School will open in September at 8605 Campus Glen Drive NE, Lacey, in the Meridian Campus development. Nisqually Middle School Principal Karen Owen will lead the school, the district’s fifth middle school.
