Man who died in Tilley Road crash identified
The 83-year-old man who died early Monday in a crash on Tilley Road has been identified.
Paul Madore died of blunt force chest and abdominal trauma, according to Thurston County Coroner Gary Warnock. He was a resident of the 14000 block of Tilley Road, and was making a U-turn in front of his home at 7:22 a.m. when the crash occurred. As he turned to head south, he was hit by a northbound vehicle, according to Sgt. Carla Carter of the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office.
The other driver was transported to Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia.
