Several Intercity Transit bus shelters have been vandalized during the past week, and the Olympia Police Department is asking the public for information.

Since Sept. 23, the glass has been smashed in at least seven bus shelters along Capitol Way and Black Lake Boulevard, said Lt. Paul Lower. Damage totals about $700.

The glass was likely broken during early morning hours, between 3 a.m. and 7 a.m. So far, police have no suspects.

“Any information would be very helpful to us and to Intercity Transit,” Lower said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Olympia Police Department at 360-753-8300.
