Level 3 sex offender registers in Tumwater

A Level 3 sex offender has registered to live in Tumwater, according to the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office.

David L. Brosius, 31, accepted a plea in 2004 in Lewis County Juvenile Court for one count of unlawful imprisonment with sexual motivation. The conviction stems from when Brosius, at age 17, sexually assaulted a 16-year-old girl.

Two years earlier, Brosius pleaded guilty in Lewis County Juvenile Court to two counts of indecent liberties with forcible compulsion and two counts of fourth-degree assault with sexual motivation. The conviction stems from when Brosius, at age 16, sexually assaulted several females about the same age.

Brosius will be living on the 6000 block of Capitol Boulevard Southwest in Tumwater. He is described as a white male, 6 feet 2 inches tall, 265 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
