Car crashes into a Federal Way house and comes to a stop on woman’s bed, injuring 3
A car careened into a Federal Way home Friday morning sending three people to the hospital and leaving a gaping hole in the side of the house, according South King Fire and Rescue and Federal Way Police.
The incident took place near the intersection of SW 320th Street and 10th Place SW. Injuries were minor. A woman was in a bed where the car came to a stop, according to a fire department tweet. She was not injured according to police.
A woman called 911 at 2:38 a.m. requesting police help her pick up belongings from a residence she shared with an estranged boyfriend, according to a statement released by Federal Way police. Less than 20 minutes later police called her while she was driving east on SW 320th Street. During the call, she said her boyfriend struck her car from behind, forcing it off the road and into the house.
Two women and an 18-month-old girl were transported to a hospital but no injuries were reported. The suspect —a 26-year-old black man with black hair and brown eyes — fled the scene in a blue 2004 Honda Odyssey van. The license plate number was BBJ6274.
