Sex offender registers as transient in Thurston County
Daniel L. Leatherman, 25, who was convicted for attempting to sexually assault an unknown 36-year-old woman when he was 21, has registered as a transient in Thurston County, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
Leatherman, a Level 2 offender, pleaded guilty in Thurston County Superior Court in 2015 to one count of indecent liberties without forcible compulsion. He was sentenced to 20 months confinement, with credit for time served, the Sheriff’s Office release says.
He is described as a 6-foot, 180-pound white male with black hair and brown eyes, and will be residing in Thurston County.
