Sex offender registers as transient in Thurston County

Devlin W. Aye, 40, who was convicted for sexually assaulting a 14-year-old female when he was 19, has registered to live as a transient in Thurston County, the Sheriff’s Office wrote in a release Wednesday.

Aye, a Level 1 offender, pleaded guilty to one count of third-degree rape in 1997, and was sentenced to six months confinement and 12 months of community supervision.

He is described as a 5-foot-10, 180-pound white male with brown hair and brown eyes.
