Man who shot Mason County bar owner sentenced to jail
A man who shot and injured a Mason County bar owner last spring was sentenced to eight and a half months in jail in Mason County Superior Court, ifiberonenewsradio.com reported.
The decision for Paul Olafsen, 65, was handed down on Monday after he pleaded guilty to second-degree assault with a deadly weapon, KOMO News reported.
On March 15, police say Olafsen shot Spencer Lake Bar & Grill owner Larry Lawrence three times inside the bar at 180 E. Pickering Road, northeast of Shelton.
Lawrence underwent surgery and was quickly back to work on light duty.
Olafsen will get credit for time already served.
