Suspected DUI driver crashes into Martin Way pizza restaurant
A suspected DUI driver who failed to stop for law enforcement crashed into a pizza restaurant on Martin Way East near Lacey early Thursday, according to the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash happened about 1:30 a.m at Inferno’s Brick Oven Pizza. According to the Sheriff’s Office, the driver failed to stop for a traffic violation and drove east on Martin Way about 2 miles before losing control and crashing into the building.
The driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
