Sex offender registrations in Thurston County

The following convicted sex offenders have recently registered to live in Thurston County. They are not wanted by law enforcement at this time.

All Level 2, Level 3 and transient sex offenders registered to live in Thurston County are listed on the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office’s website at www.co.thurston.wa.us/sheriff.

Level 1 offenders with an address are not posted.

Calvin E. Malone

Age: 68

Description: White man, 5 feet 11 inches tall, 190 pounds with gray hair (bald) and brown eyes.

Status: Level 3

Registered to live at: 3200 block of 39th Way Northeast, Olympia

Criminal history: On Jan. 26, 1993, Malone pleaded guilty in Snohomish County Superior Court to one count of first-degree rape of a child, and two counts of first-degree child molestation and was sentenced to 240 months confinement after he was accused of sexually assaulting a known 12-year-old male.

On Aug. 14, 1987, Malone pleaded guilty in Multnomah County, Oregon, to one count third-degree sodomy and one count second-degree sexual abuse and was sentenced to 2-1/2 to five years confinement and five years’ probation after he was accused of sexually assaulting underage male victims when he was a counselor working at a home for runaway boys.

On Aug. 26, 1986, Malone pleaded no contest in San Benito County, California, to battery and was sentenced to one year confinement and five years’ probation after he was accused of sexually assaulting a 12-year-old male while working as a Scout Master.

Kyle M. Wilde

Age: 33

Description: White man, 6 foot 4 inches tall, 240 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Status: Level 3

Registered to live at: 13500 block of Solberg Road Southeast, Yelm

Criminal history: On March 20, 2009, Wilde pleaded guilty in Clark County Superior Court to one count of third-degree rape of a child and was sentenced to 57 months confinement after he was accused of having sexual contact with four girls ages 14 to 15.
