Sex offender registers as transient in Thurston County
Thurston County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) has released a general public notification that a level two sex offender has moved into Thurston County as a transient. He is not wanted at this time.
Michael L. Coleman is a registered level 2 sex offender who, in June 2000, was found guilty of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old after giving her and a couple of her friends alcohol and marijuana. Coleman was sentenced to 147 months of confinement after being convicted of rape in the second degree.
Coleman has registered as a transient with TCSO and he will be residing within the county.
Coleman is described as a 6 foot tall, 320 pound white male with blue eyes. Coleman is pictured bald, but in TSCO’s release he is described as having brown hair.
