One taken to the hospital after hit-and-run collision near Capital Mall on Sunday

The Olympia Fire Department responded to a hit-and-run collision on Sunday evening on the city’s west side.

According to the department’s social media, the incident happened in the 2500 block of Capital Mall Drive. Crews arrived and extricated one person from their car. They were then transported to the hospital by paramedics for further treatment.
