A Thurston County nurse is facing second-degree rape charges and his license has been suspended after he allegedly repeatedly sexually assaulted a vulnerable adult. Court documents state he impregnated the victim, which led to his arrest in July.

According to a Nov. 7 news release from the Washington state Department of Health, registered nurse Bradley Alan Ermey had his license suspended pending further legal action. A jury trial on the criminal charges has been set for Jan. 12 in Thurston County Superior Court.

The news release says court documents allege that Ermey repeatedly sexually assaulted a vulnerable adult. The suspension prohibits Ermey from practicing as a registered nurse in Washington to protect patient safety and public health. According to social media, Ermey worked at MultiCare Tacoma General Hospital, although the alleged assaults did not occur while he was working at the hospital.

Ermey has 20 days to request a hearing to contest the charges, according to the release. He was originally arrested July 8 and was released on home monitoring. Legal documents related to the case can be found on the DOH’s Provider Credential Search page.
