Search continues for missing Thurston County man
The Thurston County Sheriff’s Office continues to search for Jerry Wayne Anderson, a 73-year-old man last seen Aug. 10.
Anderson was last seen at 6:15 a.m. near the John Luhr Beach Boat Launch on D Milluhr Drive Northeast near the Nisqually Reach Nature Center in east Thurston County.
Anderson was wearing a white T-shirt, black sweatpants and black tennis shoes. He is 5 feet 9 and weighs 190 pounds. He has gray hair and blue eyes.
He was last seen by a neighbor, and he had blood on his shirt. Deputies recovered a bloody flashlight belonging to Anderson.
Two extensive searches, with no results, have been conducted in the area where Anderson was last seen.
