Lacey police are seeking information about a Tuesday morning burglary in which a suspect cut through the roof of a KFC restaurant and stole money from a safe.

Officers responded to reports of a burglary at the KFC at 4521 Lacey Blvd. SE at about 5:30 a.m. The burglar used a reciprocating saw to cut through the roof of the business to access the office. Once in the office, the burglar cut through two safes and took an undisclosed amount of cash.

Anyone with information about the burglary should contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information, and tips may be made anonymously.
