Olympia police seek bank robbery suspect

A July bank robbery is still unsolved and the Olympia Police Department is asking for the public’s help.

On July 1, the Columbia Bank on Harrison Avenue in Olympia was robbed by a suspect who pointed an orange gun at a teller and demanded money. He ran out of the bank with the money.

The suspect is a white male, 20-30 years old, 6 feet tall, thin build with long curly blonde hair. He was seen getting into an early 2000s champagne colored Chevrolet Silverado pickup.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS. That’s 1-800-222-8477. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1000.
