Olympia High School placed on lockdown following altercation
Olympia High School briefly went on lockdown Thursday morning during a physical altercation between a father and son, said Olympia police Lt. Paul Lower.
Officers responded to the school at about 8:45 a.m. after school staff reported that a male student had gotten into a minor altercation with his father. Lower said no students were in danger, but the school was put on lockdown for about five minutes while police and administrators determined that the student had no weapons.
No one was arrested, Lower said.
