Lacey police investigate reports of possible gunfire
UPDATE as of 8:30 p.m. Dispatch said no one was injured, and that investigators did not find evidence that shots were fired.
INITIAL POST: Lacey Police are investigating suspicious activity in the 4400 block of Pacific Ave. in Lacey.
Several people reported hearing noises that sounded like gunfire at about 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday, according to a Thurston County dispatcher.
Police activity was heavy in the area in response to the reports, although the dispatcher said their office hadn’t been informed of any road closures in the area.
No other information was released.
