Loaded gun found on Shelton High School campus
Two Shelton High School students were arrested Tuesday morning after school officials found out they had a loaded handgun, according to the Shelton Police Department.
At about 10 a.m., school officials were notified that a student had seen what appeared to be a gun in another student’s backpack during class. Within five minutes, a small, loaded handgun was found in a garbage can on campus.
Two students were arrested and transported to Mason County Juvenile Hall.
