Great Wolf Lodge guest arrested, accused of molesting girl, 11
A judge set bail at $50,000 for Ryen L. Joslin, a Snohomish County man suspected of molesting an 11-year-old girl at Great Wolf Lodge in Grand Mound.
Joslin, 37, appeared before Thurston County Superior Court Judge Erik Price on Tuesday. Price found probable cause for one criminal charge: first-degree child molestation. However, Deputy Prosecutor Christen Peters said additional charges are likely, as another suspected victim has come forward.
“He’s looking at significant prison time if he’s convicted of even one of these offenses,” Peters said.
According to court documents, Joslin was arrested Monday night (March 28) by Chehalis Tribal Police officers at the Great Wolf Lodge. Joslin had been a guest at the hotel.
A girl called police and reported that Joslin had touched her breasts and genitals in a hotel room. Another girl staying in the room reported that Joslin had been drinking vodka and “loves medicine and pills,” according to court documents.
When officers entered the room, they found a half-empty bottle of vodka. Joslin had a blood alcohol content of 0.216, according to court documents. The legal limit for driving is 0.08.
