Man suspected of striking couple with truck in downtown Olympia pleads not guilty
A 19-year-old Shelton man pleaded not guilty early Tuesday to charges of vehicular homicide and vehicular assault in Thurston County Superior Court.
Jared G. Dishon entered his pleas before Judge Erik Price. His trial was scheduled to begin Aug. 1.
Dishon was arrested April 21 after he allegedly struck two people with his pickup. Maria “Dancing Heart” Hoaglund, 61, died at Harborview Medical Center as a result of her injuries.
