DOC employees in Thurston County receive awards

Eleven Department of Corrections employees in Thurston County received agency awards at a Tuesday (May 3) ceremony in Tumwater.

The awards are presented annually, and recipients are nominated by their colleagues.

The following employees were recipients:

▪ Dianne Ashlock, secretary’s leadership award

▪ Maria Peterson, secretary’s leadership award

▪ Rob Colley, employee of the year

▪ Dale Caldwell, employee of the year

▪ Tami Kampbell, employee of the year

▪ Sheyla Babilonia, support staff of the year

▪ Mary Jane Arnold, supervisor of the year

▪ Carrie Kendig, supervisor of the year, innovation team award

▪ Michael Eby, innovation team award

▪ Sue Broumley, support staff of the year

▪ Marko Anderson, community corrections officer of the year
