On April 18, 1989, Fields pleaded guilty in Superior Court in Maricopa County, Arizona, to one count of attempted molestation of a child. He was sentenced to one year in jail and seven years probation. The conviction stems from Fields, at 23, sexually assaulting an unknown 10-year-old boy.
On May 19, 2014, Fields pleaded guilty in Kitsap County District Court to one count of communication with a minor for immoral purposes. He was sentenced to 365 days in jail with all but 45 days suspended. That conviction stems from Fields, at 47, attempting to have sexual contact with an unknown 15-year-old boy.
Murry E. Fields is described as a white male, 5 feet 10 inches and 300 lbs., with brown hair and green eyes.
