Brief lockdown lifted at Olympia Regional Learning Academy
The Olympia Regional Learning Academy was locked down for five to 10 minutes on Tuesday morning, according to Olympia School District spokesman Conor Schober.
“It was due to a traffic stop in the vicinity of ORLA,” he said.
During the safety procedure, which took place at about 8:30 a.m., the school’s external doors were locked, and staff stood at each entry, Schober said.
He said students were still able to enter the school at 2400 15th Ave. SE.
No other information was immediately released.
