Lacey child care center receives national accreditation

KinderCare Learning Center in Lacey has received accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children.

The designation is “the gold standard in designating high-quality early learning programs,” according to a news release from KinderCare Learning Centers.

Less than 10 percent of early childhood education programs receive the designation; it is different from licensing, which ensures that a center meets the minimum requirements to provide child care.
