Tumwater forum to address school safety, security

School safety and security is the theme for Tumwater School District’s next Community Roundtable, scheduled from 6:30-7:45 p.m. Nov. 17.

The public event will be at Tumwater High School Performing Arts Center, 700 Israel Road SW. It will feature school resource officer Chuck Liska, who will talk about preparation and response to critical incidents, and capital projects supervisor Mel Murray, who will talk about facilities projects that address security and safety.
