Night firing at JBLM this week may get noisy

Joint Base Lewis-McChord will conduct late-night firing of mortars from 6:30 a.m. to midnight through Thursday of this week.

This is required training. As often as possible, JBLM conducts larger scale artillery firing at the Yakima Training Center to minimize inconvenience for the surrounding communities. However, some training must take place on base at JBLM.

Queries or comments about noise may be directed to the JBLM Public Affairs Office’s External Communication Division hotline at 253-967-0852.
