Military achievements for Nov. 3
Air Force
Air Force Airman Aaron C. Collier Jr. graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas. Collier is the son of Aaron and Buffy Collier of Olympia, and he is a 2015 graduate of Timberline High School.
Army
Army Pvt. Ryan Cook has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. Cook is the son of Kevin and Tiffany Koch of Yelm, and is a 2015 graduate of Yelm High School.
Deployment
Cpl. Pedro E. Torres III, a health care specialist with the Charlie Company, 299th Brigade Support Battalion, 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, Fort Riley, Kan., will be deploying with the “Dagger” Brigade for nine months to Kuwait in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Torres is the husband of Melissa Torres of Fort Riley, Kan., and the father of Maddex and Calixto. He is a 2007 graduate of River Ridge High School.
