Rollover crash by Lacey Costco sends one to hospital

A rollover car crash by Lacey’s Costco gas station Monday sent one person to the hospital.

The rollover happened when one car heading west on Martin Way East hit a car turning left into the gas station’s parking lot, causing the turning vehicle to flip on its side in the intersection.

The two drivers, one man and one woman, had minor injuries. One was evaluated and cleared at the scene and the other was transported to a hospital for further evaluation.

Lacey Police and Fire departments responded to the crash at around 4 p.m. Monday and had the three-way intersection cleared up by 5 p.m.
