Overnight I-5 lane, ramp closures planned in Tumwater this week

Washington State Department of Transportation is planning overnight ramp and lane closures for sections of Interstate 5 in Tumwater Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of this week so crews can repair asphalt.

According to a WSDOT news release, the following closures and restrictions are planned, pending cooperative weather:

  • 9 p.m. Monday to 5 a.m. Tuesday: southbound I-5 near Trosper Road will be reduced to one lane and the Trosper Road on-ramp to southbound I-5 will be closed;
  • 9:30 p.m. Tuesday to 4:30 a.m. Wednesday: one lane of southbound I-5 near 93rd Avenue will be closed along with the southbound exit to 93rd Avenue; and
  • 9:30 p.m. Wednesday to 4:30 a.m. Thursday: one lane of northbound I-5 near 93rd Avenue will be closed along with the southbound exit to 93rd Avenue.
