Washington State Patrol investigating fatal three-vehicle crash near Montesano

Washington State Patrol was dispatched Wednesday just before 6 p.m. to a three-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 12 just west of Montesano in Grays Harbor County.

A vehicle pulling a trailer was traveling east on the highway when the driver lost control of the trailer, resulting in the trailer entering the westbound lanes, according to a news release.

The trailer collided with two vehicles and killed the drivers of both cars. They have been identified as Jesse Rosenzweig, 41, and Angel Cerda-Galeana, 33, both from Aberdeen.

Passengers from two of the cars were transported to the local community hospital with injuries.

The incident resulted in the highway being closed for more than five hours, according to the release.

The incident is still under investigation and no charges have been filed, according to the release.
