Drivers should expect traffic slowdowns on U.S. 101 in Olympia this evening.

Work crews plan to close one lane in each direction from 5 p.m. Wednesday to 3 a.m. Thursday to repair a guardrail, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.

The closures will span a portion of the highway between milepost 362 and 363 near Mud Bay. A work zone will be in effect. WSDOT asks drivers to slow down and avoid distractions in this area to help keep workers safe.

Drivers can check a real-time traffic map via the WSDOT website or mobile app. Updates will also be provided on the WSDOT Twitter account.
