A west Olympia road lane and a nature trail will be closed for most of the day Thursday, May 4, while crews remove hazardous trees along West Bay Drive.

According to a news release from the city of Olympia, the southbound lane of West Bay Drive will be closed from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be a flagger to help guide traffic.

Garfield Nature Trail will be closed while crews are working. The trail serves as a neighborhood connection to West Bay Park. The trailhead is located on West Bay Drive.
