Vehicle fire causes heavy traffic on I-5 during morning commute in Thurston Co.
A vehicle fire caused heavy traffic for commuters on Interstate 5 in Lacey Wednesday morning.
The incident occurred at around 7:40 a.m. at milepost 109 of southbound I-5, which is near Martin Way East, according to an alert from the Washington State Department of Transportation.
A traffic camera showed fire crews working on a vehicle in the right lane and traffic snaking around them at about 7:54 a.m.
