A Target employee was arrested after being accused of pointing a phone up a customer’s skirt, New Jersey officials said.

David I. Sutton, 20, had been found pointing his phone up a female shopper’s skirt at a Target in Wall Township, according to an Aug. 28 Facebook post by the police department.

Management at the store called the police, and when officers got to the scene on Aug. 27, Sutton fled on foot before he was arrested on charges of invasion of privacy, obstruction of the administration of justice and harassment, officials said.

McClatchy News reached out to Target for a statement on Aug. 29 and was awaiting a response.

Officers ask anyone who may have experienced a similar incident to call 732-449-4500, police said.

Wall Township is about a 40-mile drive east of Trenton.
