Kinder Bueno is giving away free chocolate bars. Here’s how to get one
Kinder Bueno is letting chocolate lovers try before they buy — but not for long.
The candy brand, owned by Ferrero, is offering customers free Kinder Bueno bars at participating retailers nationwide through the end of the year, according to a Sept. 16 news release.
No purchase is required.
Consumers can request a digital coupon online, while supplies last. The voucher is good for one Kinder Bueno (two-bar pack) featuring “creamy hazelnut filling in a crispy wafer, enrobed in milk chocolate and a dark chocolate drizzle.”
The candy bar was created in 1990 by Italian chocolate maker Michele Ferrero but didn’t launch in the U.S. until 2019, according to the Kinder website.
Chocolate lovers have until Tuesday, Dec. 31 to claim the digital offer, the release said. The coupon expires Feb. 28, 2025.
Customers can redeem the freebie at several retail, grocery and drugstore chains in the U.S. including Albertson’s, CVS, Food Lion, Kroger, Safeway and Walmart.
