Taco Bell debuts ‘mini’ menu item — but it won’t stick around. Here’s what to know
Taco Bell’s newest offering was made for dipping — though sharing is optional.
The cheesy dipping burritos arrived Thursday, Jan. 16, at participating Taco Bell restaurants nationwide for a limited time, according to the California-based fast-food chain.
For $4.99, customers get two mini burritos filled with cheese and their choice of grilled, marinated steak or chicken, Taco Bell said in a news release.
The burritos can be paired with one of three dipping sauces:
- Creamy chipotle
- Nacho cheese sauce
- Reduced-fat sour cream
The snack-sized offering was previously tested in Detroit and “quickly became a fan favorite,” prompting the push for a nationwide rollout, according to Taco Bell.
“As Taco Bell’s first limited-time offer innovation of 2025, this launch marks the beginning of an exciting year of bold flavors and inventive formats at Taco Bell, designed to make every bite an experience,” the restaurant said.
The cheesy dipping burritos join a handful of new offerings also set to hit menus Jan. 16, including:
- Steak garlic nacho fries
- Baja Dream Freezes
- $5, $7, $9 Luxe Cravings Boxes
- Build Your Own Luxe Cravings Box
