Wendy’s teases new Frosty inspired by Girl Scout cookie. Here’s when you can try it
Wendy’s newest Frosty treat tastes like a Girl Scout Cookie.
The burger chain on Monday, Jan. 27, announced it is teaming up with Girl Scouts of the USA for a limited-time Thin Mints Frosty, available nationwide starting Feb. 21.
“Each bite pairs minty-chocolatey, crumbly, cookie butter texture with the cool, creamy Frosty,” Wendy’s said in a news release. Customers can add the cookie-inspired swirl to a classic chocolate or vanilla Frosty.
Additional information wasn’t immediately available.
The rollout coincides with Girl Scout Cookie season, which typically runs from January through April, though timing varies from city to city.
Earlier this month, the Girl Scouts brought back its full slate of cookies — including the best-selling Thin Mints — but said it would retire two varieties at the end of this year’s cookie-sales season.
The departing flavors, Girl Scout S’mores and Toast-Yay!, will be phased out soon but are available to order at Girl Scout Cookie booths and online, the organization said.
The Thin Mints Frosty will be available at participating Wendy’s locations for a limited time, though the fast-food chain didn’t say for how long.
