DENVER - Vice President JD Vance will speak to hundreds of graduating cadets at this year's U.S. Air Force Academy commencement ceremony in Colorado Springs, academy officials announced Tuesday.

More than 900 cadets will graduate on May 28 at Falcon Stadium, stepping into roles with the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Space Force, according to a news release from the academy.

Vance was sworn into office alongside President Donald Trump on Jan. 20, 2025. He previously served in the Marine Corps from 2003 to 2007 and as a U.S. senator for Ohio between 2023 and 2025.
