Video: Baby giraffe born on camera at S.C. zoo

A baby giraffe was born at the Greenville Zoo Tuesday morning.

Hundreds of viewers watched the giraffe birth on EarthCam. Masai giraffe parents Autumn and Walter welcomed their newest calf into the world at 6:16 a.m. The calf has not yet been named.

The zoo is taking suggestions from the public for a name for the new giraffe through Feb. 11.
