Gov. Jay Inslee spoke Monday to address the statewide demonstrations against police brutality in the wake of George Floyd’s death.

The press conference comes a day after a gunman drove into a demonstration on Capitol Hill in Seattle and shot a 27-year-old man. The victim is expected to survive. Later, police used tear gas, pepper spray and flash bangs against protesters.
